Zaidul Alam, originally from Bangladesh, earned his bachelor's degree in computer science and engineering from Shahjalal University of Technology before pursuing a master's degree in computer science at the renowned Carnegie Mellon University. Zaidul is currently a MBA candidate from the Business School of the University of Queensland.Starting his technology career as a software engineer at Ranks Telecom Limited, Zaidul later joined International Turnkey Systems, where he took on various software development and onsite leadership roles. He eventually became a senior systems engineer at Huawei Technologies.In 2012, Zaidul relocated to Adelaide, Australia, and started working for the South Australian government. During his tenure, he served in numerous capacities, such as senior software engineer, full stack developer, and ultimately Solutions Architect. He played a crucial role in creating and implementing cutting-edge technology solutions that enhanced government services and processes.In 2020, Zaidul co-founded Wisecar Private Limited, a vehicle fleet management system that enables employees to use their personal cars for work and claim reimbursements from their companies. Wisecar quickly gained traction as a cost-effective solution for managing corporate vehicle fleets. Alam's entrepreneurial acumen and technical proficiency have been key to the company's success.As an active participant in the Australian tech community, Zaidul served multiple years as a board director for GovHack Australia, an organisation that promotes innovation and creativity by uniting individuals from diverse backgrounds to devise innovative solutions to societal and governmental challenges.
