Proton P3-21A (Preve) Project:Led the engineering team in developing assembly process planning for Front & Rear structure components. The tooling was design based on projected volume of 55,200cbu/yr. with 1 shift operation; the design cycle time for PHN P3-21A is 134sec.Led in process tooling design and development with Daewoo CES, Korea where design review, PFMEA study, equipment buy-off and pre-delivery inspection for shipping “GO” approval are the main activities.Honda 2HC (Civic) Project:Led PHN’s technical team during tooling design review at Kikuchi Press Ltd, Japan.Finalized assembly layout prior to tooling design approval and confirming tooling pre-delivery inspection results.Proton P6-20A (Exora) Project:Performed project management and component development for Proton Exora model.Led a team of engineers from multi-disciplinary background to develop a manufacturing process assembly for “front & rear modules” for mass production readiness.Involved in product development stage in term of simultaneous engineering, process study, tooling development, material procurement, welding trial and testing.Coordinated a tooling and equipment development with VETEC, Korea for a total of 58 units of assembly jigs and 152 units of welding equipment.Proton P2-11A (Saga) Project:Led the engineering team in developing assembly process planning for Front & Rear structure components.Involved in process tooling design and development with LG CNS Korea. During the development process, series of activities were performed at LG CNS, Korea which include design review, PFMEA study, equipment buy-off, safety inspection and pre-delivery inspection for shipping “GO” approval. Coordinated equipment and tooling installation at PHN plant which related to erection all risks consideration from contractor in Shah Alam and commissioning for Final Acceptance Test.
