I am a Master’s graduate of the Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering. I was also a former student-athlete of Indiana University's Women’s Swimming and Diving program. I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Intelligent Systems Engineering (concentration in Cyber-Physical Systems/Computer Engineering) with a minor in Mathematics in 2023 (3.75 GPA) while simultaneously working towards my Master’s degree in Intelligent Systems Engineering (2024). I am now working as a research assistant and teaching assistant, while seeking internship or job opportunities to take the next step in my career. I want to continue in the academic research world by pursuing a PhD that allows me to integrate my intelligent systems engineering background with the skills I have learned in animal studies. My interests lie in environmental engineering, I am passionate about the environment and further understanding animals. I have a particular interest in how technology, sensors, and data handling can be used to gain more knowledge about animal behavior specifically in the ocean. I have experience in multiple coding languages, robotics, and both hardware and software utilization. I am also strong in organizational skills and work ethic. My journey as a collegiate student athlete and engineering student has prepared me for a challenging work atmosphere and fast paced environment. I am searching for a PhD program that merges engineering and environmental research, or a job that offers experience in this field.
