About Zainab Pasha

Zainab is a hybrid c-suite executive, part brand builder, part creative design thinker, part business driver- all results oriented. She changed the landscape of beauty in Pakistan by co-founding an indie brand, HER Beauty in Jan 2023 addressing a white-space need. As a ‘product-led’ founder she saw a blindspot in the clean beauty space to deliver effective yet gentle, science-backed skincare full of functional actives targeting concerns for women of color all under a masstige price point (under $15).Her journey started with personal care brands at Unilever Pakistan (2004-2009) & later Unilever Thailand. Her experience led her to then set up & be a part of the Founders Team that brought L’ORÉAL subsidiary into Pakistan with its journey to break-even (2009-2015). Aside from CPG knowledge she also has beauty service experience with a 12 year beauty salon, retailing small batch all -earthen products. Zainab has expanded mindsets by compelling and artistic storytelling in each organization by launching fresh trends, creating disrupting products, robust business model best practices, and introducing marketing concepts that have turned organizations from bust to best. She is currently double-hatting 2 roles: Chief Operating Officer and Chief Marketing Officer at HER Beauty where she aligns the company’s mission with the overall strategy for growth.
