Hi, welcome to my profile! I'm an engagement and policy professional working at the BC Legislative Assembly. I am passionate about education centred on equity, accountability, community, and accessibility, especially for Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour. As a young professional, I look for opportunities to learn and challenge myself now that I have completed a BA in History, and minors in Indigenous Studies and Sociology. Having completed certificates in Workplace Rights, and Social Justice, I am interested in opportunities that involve research, policies, critical thinking, and support positive change. My professional experience as a Research and Planning Analyst in the Office of the Clerk of the Legislative Assembly and a Research Assistant for the Department of History at SFU allowed me to work on research projects with many First Nations and racialized communities in BC, synthesize data and research, work directly with my executives, and solve complex policy problems. In 2023, I was a BC Legislative Intern where I participated in public policymaking and witnessed the BC political process. I love meeting people and listening to different perspectives. Let’s chat!
