My expertise includes developing and executing marketing and communications strategies across a variety of industries, with a focus on social media, corporate social responsibility, stakeholder management, sustainability initiatives, and government relations.With a Masters’ Degree in Mass Communication, specializing in Public Relations & Advertising, in my current and previous roles, I have successfully developed and executed a number of strategies that have resulted in significant business results. Currently, I am affiliated Engro Energy Limited as Manager Marketing & Communications. Earlier, I was with HBL (Pakistan’s largest bank) as Senior Manager External Communications & CSR in the Marketing & Corporate Affairs Department. Before joining HBL, I was associated with Lucky Cement Limited (Pakistan’s prominent conglomerate with diversified interests in textiles, real estate, power generation, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, FMCG, philanthropy, and automotive) as Head of the Corporate Communications Department. Before that, I was employed by Xenith Public Relations (an official affiliate of US-based PR agency FleishmanHillard) where I worked with some of the prominent industry players as a PR Manager including Continental Biscuits Limited, Pakistan Business Council, Daraz.pk, UBL Fund Managers, Faysal Bank, JS Bank, Khushaalibank, Dell EMC, Engro Corporation, and Byco Petroleum. Earlier in my career, I was a web editor at ARY News and Project Coordinator for Interfaith Harmony, a groundbreaking initiative sponsored by King Shah Abdullah and the Pope of the Vatican. Through this project, we aimed to promote peace and harmony between Muslims and Christians through the release of a Christmas album by an American Muslim.
