I'm a student from McLean, Virginia in the greater Washington D.C. area interested in management strategy, public policy, labor rights and education justice. At Saphron Initiative, I work with policymakers, incumbents and teachers unions on education reform work. I've facilitated policy recommendations for the Department of Education alongside a national coalition of stakeholders, co-authored H.R.29 in the House of Representatives, and currently lead a team of advocacy associates across the United States, collaborating with likeminded organizations and issuing endorsements on state, local, and federal levels. Outside of Saphron Initiative, I lead McLean High School's Muslim Student Association and school publication, The Highlander, and serve as the former Programs Director for the High School Democrats of America Muslim Caucus.
