Hello, I am Zakariya Dauda Abdulgafar, an advocate for quality education and positive change. I have a degree in Chemistry Education from Sokoto State University and a Master's Degree in Science Education from the University of Ibadan, and I am currently studying for my second masters degree in sustainable development Israel. With over 7 years of experience in the education sector, I consider myself a highly motivated, strategically focused, and impact-driven educator.Throughout my career, I've actively contributed to transforming education across various communities in Nigeria. My volunteer experiences span across Lagos State, Ogun State, and Sokoto State, where I've been involved in initiatives aimed at creating a lasting impact.As the founder of the Clothe-a-Child initiative, I took the initiative to produce over 70 school uniforms for children in public schools in Ogun State. Additionally, I co-founded the Recycle for a Child initiative, which successfully gathered approximately 400 textbooks. We distributed these textbooks across all schools in the Isara Remo community of Ogun State, promoting literacy and access to educational resources.As the co-founder of Stitch-2-Educate, I am committed to decreasing poverty levels in the community. Through this foundation, we provide women with valuable entrepreneurship skills, particularly in sewing. This initiative empowers women to create sustainable livelihoods, contributing to the overall economic development of the community.My journey reflects a dedication to educational transformation, community development, and creating opportunities for individuals to thrive. As I continue to pursue my passion for education and positive change, I look forward to collaborating with like-minded individuals and organizations to make a lasting impact in Nigeria and beyond.
