Motivated by a passion for bridging the gap between collecting research data on human behaviors and giving meaning to the vast array of numbers collected, my ultimate goal was to solidify the applicability of data. This led me to embark on a journey to explore the field of data science. As a graduate student pursuing a master's degree in data science with the Institute of Advanced Analytics at North Carolina State University, I combine my bachelor's degree in Neuroscience and Psychology from UNC Chapel Hill with valuable research assistant experience.During my time as a clinical psychology research assistant, I dove deep into the intricacies of shaping experiments and gathering and dissecting data for meaningful patterns. This immersive involvement allowed me to hone my analytical skills and enriched my attention to even the smallest details, culminating in a remarkable boost to my data analysis skills. My current coursework equips me with the skills necessary to utilize programming languages such as R and Python to clean and visualize data, generate regression models, and compute time series analyses. In my quest to put my skills into action, I'm actively looking for opportunities where I can make a real difference in the constantly evolving realm of data science.
