Same job, same company, new name. GrubHub mobile team, focusing on Android and iOS (with a little back end sprinkled in). See if you can find a picture of me hidden in the app!Currently, I'm working on the recently publicized GrubHub delivery service (http://fortune.com/2015/02/05/grubhub-restaurant-delivery/). I'm tech lead on the project. Our small team of eight (4 developers, 2 QA, 1 Business Analyst and 1 designer) has developed an app for delivery drivers to use to manage their deliveries. We rolled out the first version to bikers in Chicago and less than six months later we have drivers in 5 major cities. The app leverages push notifications and location services to keep up to date with the services that provide orders that need delivering. I've also developed some of the back end services (Spring Boot, Data REST) including logging critical events to AWS Kinesis for analysis and registering devices with AWS SNS (for push notifications).
