An avid reader and lone traveller, Zakry holds a bachelor’s degree in law with honours from International Islamic University Malaysia. Apart from a short stint in professional practise as a corporate lawyer in an established legal firm in Kuala Lumpur (Feroz & Co), he has served at several multinational companies, one a renown media group (Thomson Reuters) where he was tasked to coordinate and manage international publishing team consisting authors, editors and publishing specialists in South East Asia (2008-2016). He then served as Assistant Head, Legal Division at Fishance Berhad, a Russian-owned aquaculture business based in Langkawi for a year, while heading a team of insurance brokers under an authorised insurance agency of AIA Berhad. In 2019, he was then offered a senior position in Business Development Dept with another MNC, Serba Dinamik IT Solutions Sdn Bhd.Upon successfully developed a colourful career path from Law to Publishing to Insurance and settled down with Business Development & Marketing, he was then offered to act as a CEO to lead a transformative journey of MIFA Academy, a training & education arm of Malaysia Industry Forward Association, an IR 4.0 tech-based industry association headquartered in Serdang, Selangor, Malaysia.His vast experience in project & team management has shaped him into what he is now, and he is applying all aspects of management and business planning that he has learned so far into all the projects and transfomative agenda that he is now handling, including working closely with public and private agencies and institutional clients, local and abroad.Legal & Contract Management - Technology Design & Implementation - Project Management - Corporate & Industrial Relations
