Lagan's Foundation provides respite care to families with children with complex health conditions, specialising in Congenital Heart Defects and feeding difficulties. We provide families with the opportunity to take a much needed break from caring for a loved one. Caring for a child with complex care needs is challenging – we believe that families often need time away to rest and recharge.We have specific needs training and can support families with medication, trips out and overnight stays.

Experienced operations, project and transformation manager who is equally comfortable working on high level strategy and diving into the detail, bringing together stakeholders from across the business.Key Responsibilities in consultation with CEO and FD:- Act as a reference point for strategy, planning queries, information and be an advocate for project best practice- Ensure compliance with the UK Sport Code of Governance- Maintain and develop the Risk Register working with the CEO and ARC as needed- Maintain statutory records required by law- Maintain Company policies- Work with GBS legal advisors on legal matters e.g. contracts and company policies- Ensure that appropriate systems and procedures are in place and applied correctly- Monthly bank reconciliations and monitoring of cash flow forecast- Set up and approve all bank payments- Resolve supplier queries- Supervise collection of monies from sponsors, athletes and donors- Monitor payments of grant money from International Federations (FIS), UK Sport and other governmental funding bodies- Oversee the management, authorisation and payment of invoices and expense claims- Oversee prepaid foreign currency cards- Produce quarterly reports for funders eg: UK Sport showing costs incurred against plan- Create annual company budgets and support Board sign off- Ensure appropriate insurance is in place for all aspects of the business- Management of payroll (via an external service bureau)- Manage annual audit- Issue and renew staff employment contracts as necessary- Maintain an up to date Employee Handbook- Ensure the IT and electronic communication systems are secure, up to date and fit for purpose- Manage the office facilities establishing an excellent working relationship with current landlord- Project manage office move under guidance of CEO- Working closely with and to the CEO to ensure an effective and efficient organisation carrying out such duties as may be required from time to time

Being department manager I was responsible for the ski, outdoor and climbing departments, 6 members of staff and their training. My primary role was to make sure all my staff were able to help customers and provide them with the expert information they come to us for. Heading up the ski department was still a large part of my responsibilities.

One of my main responsibilities was helping customers find the perfect pair of ski boots and/or skis that allow them to make the most of their ski holidays and enjoy it as much as possible. My other main responsibility was to help and train my 4 members of staff to enable them to help customers and prepare them as much as possible for their holiday.
