Zama Luthuli is a consultant in ERM’s Johannesburg office. Since joining ERM in 2010, Zama has worked across the Operational Performance, Capital Project Support and Asset Management teams on projects ranging from EIAs to groundwater contamination studies. Her EIA involvement centres on the public participation/ stakeholder engagement component where her responsibilities include producing site notices and adverts, developing and maintaining stakeholder databases, meeting logistics and, capturing and managing comment and response/ issues logs. Zama has worked on various environmental and social due diligence and several environmental compliance audits. Her experience has included active participation in Focus Group Discussions and community meetings as well as leading on Key Informant Interviews with government officials and NGOs. Recently Zama was actively involved in the relocation of an orphanage, this involved stakeholder engagement, baseline reporting, developed options analysis criteria, developed, developed relocation implementation schedule.
