I'm a Veterinarian born in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), graduated from the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro. With a consistent career, I take with me several cultural and professional experiences, including international ones, and I stand out at the forefront and expertise in prescribing Cannabis spp as a veterinary clinical therapy. I always seek to broaden my horizons and develop skills in different areas. My international experiences (London, Belgium, Portugal, Italy, Brazil) were fuel to improve my abilities to communicate and get exploring other cultures, as well as work and expand my skills in veterinary medicine throughout the world. Currently working simultaneously as a clinician and researcher, I am able to assess the individual needs of my patients and further develop an individualized and more promising therapy with cannabinoids. My work comes from my personal experience of having therapeutic benefits with Cannabis use for PTSD and Chronic Pain, therefore I developed a strong willingness to provide the same relief I had/have for my patients. Such deep motivation resulted in scientific publications, promising clinical results, and new therapeutic possibilities and targets for several animal diseases.
