Dr. Zeeshan A. Nayyar received his Ph.D. degree in Wind Energy Modelling from the department of Applied Physics, University of Karachi in 2009. Currently, Dr. Nayyar is working as Assistant Professor at the University of Karachi, Pakistan. He is also involve in promoting wind energy related research activities from Renewable Energy Research Group, Department of Applied Physics, University of Karachi. He is/was the PI and Co-PI of more than 7 international & national research projects related to wind energy and related technologies. Dr. Nayyar has published and presented more than 50 research papers in international & national journals & conferences. He is also a co-author of book chapter titled ‘Prospects of Renewable Energy Sources in Pakistan’, in Renewable-Energy Technologies and Sustainable Development (2005). He has a visiting scientist status at the Abdus Salam International Center for Theoretical Physics (ICTP), Italy and also attended their training programs. Furthermore, he server as a technical expert to Power Department of Sindh Government for Wind-Solar Renewable Technologies. He is member of many international and national organizations including World Wind Energy Association, American Geophysical Union & IEEE Global.Furthermore, he has strong education professional skilled in Physics, Science, Curriculum Development, Public Speaking, and E-Learning.
