EIT Climate-KIC is a European knowledge and innovation community, working towards a prosperous, inclusive, climate-resilient society founded on a circular, zero-carbon economy.At EIT Climate-KIC (CKIC) Zand’s workstreams included (i) cross-cutting development, support, and delivery of CKIC’s Deep Demonstration Systems Innovation approach and practice; (ii) development, training, and delivery of CKIC’s Sensemaking & Intelligence practice and tools including Exaptive, an AI-enhanced innovation portfolio platform; (iii) facilitation of CKIC’s portfolio decision making and funding allocation process for EU wide projects; (iv) organizational blueprint design; (v) design & co-facilitation of whole CKIC staff and partner meetings ranging from 50 to + 300 people in person and online (vi) development and support for organizational learning infrastructure and practice; and (vii) management of educational activities in the Nordic region including the EIT Climate KIC Master Label, Ph.D. Catapult, the Journey Climate Innovation Summer School & Sustainable Urban Development Masterclasses.

At Roller, Zand’s workstreams included (i) pre-conditions, delivery, & documentation of early phase Social Labs in Oxford on Early Years’ Service Provision, Chicago on Community Safety and in Harare & Bulawayo, Zimbabwe on Urban Resilience; (ii) social labs training & coaching with KaosPilots.dk ; and (iii) internal operational support including Agile Scrum practice and development of Rollers ‘Clients as Partners’ policy.

The International Youth Initiative Program (YIP) is a holistic educational program that strengthens young people's capacity to take initiative in the face of current global challenges by developing their knowledge, skills, and capacities to become social entrepreneurs.At YIP, Zand's workstreams included (i) co-design, coordination, facilitation, and evaluation of the year-long YIP curriculum and learning process for 27 international students; (ii) student coaching and mentorship; and (iii) organizational strategy development and student recruitment.

The 7th Generation Project was a multi-stakeholder platform set up at the intersection of Northern Ireland's business, environmental, governance, education, and community development sectors to raise awareness, build capacity, initiating action, cultivating leadership, and weaving community to foster a green economy in the region.Zand's workstreams covered all aspects of the platforms' work from strategy to project management, communication to event delivery.

Since 2001, Face to Face | Faith to Faith has brought together hundreds of Christian, Jewish and Muslim teenagers from Northern Ireland, the Middle East, South Africa, and the U.S. to develop a new generation of leaders able to negotiate a multifaith global society.Alexander designed, coordinated and co-facilitated 2011 Leader in Training Intensive program.

A 3-week learning journey down the eastern seaboard of China, starting in Beijing and ending in Hong Kong with the purpose to connect European social entrepreneurs to their Chinese counterparts to foster future collaboration.Zand’s tasks included design and evaluation of the application process, construction and evaluation of key performance indicators for Xpedition, and facilitation of group process during the Xpedition.

TIDES Training & Consultancy is a Northern Irish, ethically based non-profit organization that offers Conflict Management, Community Relations, and Mediation Training.At TIDES, Zand's workstreams included (i) delivery and assessment of Open College Network certified training in Conflict Management, Good Relations & Group Work; and (ii) delivering TIDES project work for the Bytes youth organization. Bytes uses creative ICT to engage and inspire the most socially excluded young people in Northern Ireland to realize their full potential and progress into education, training, and employment.

Street Feast is Ireland's national day of street parties & community celebrations. Now in its 11th year, Street Feast's nationwide network is being leveraged as a community organizing response to COVID 19 in Ireland.Zand was one of five climate advocates from the British Councils Challenge Europe Programme who conceptualized, coordinated, and launched Street Feast Ireland.
