Responsibilities include: Creating interdisciplinary Humanities units that challenge students to develop literacy skills, collaborating with other teachers in designing projects, leading professional development for teachers in project-based learning, student-led conferences, mastery-based learning, using e-portfolios to exhibit authentic artifacts of learning, and chaperoning students on annual camping trips around Hong Kong and China. I also lead a sketch comedy extra-curricular activity and have been known to participate in school-wide Battle of the Bands.

Responsibilities included: Developing meaningful, project-based units using UbD format, coaching students as individual learners during projects, collaborating with special education teachers as well as teachers from other disciplines, incorporating technology into every unit including Googledocs, iMovie, Garageband, and accessing scholarly databases such as JSTOR. As part of the International Club I chaperoned students on an international trip to London and Paris in February, 2014. I also have taught film and creative writing.
