I have worked 8 years as Electronic technician on the developement and manufacturering of systems used on underground locomotives used in mining. Some of the key systems we worked on was high current stepper battery chargers, DC motor control driver systems and collision avoidance and pedestrian detection systems.Additional tasks was drafting with Autocad/Solid works, project role out and Quality control.Since 2014 I have been working for Sedna doing a range of technological projects. Was part of the first fully Autonomous Drill fleet in South Africa at Kumba Iron ore in Northern Cape. I was responsible for the installation and commissioning of the Core Network infrastructure, Control room, server rooms, Wireless network in the pit area and the Autonomous drills electrical harness installations. We also did a 78 camera surveillance system for operators to monitor the drills as they were operated autonomously.2018 I joined Sedna AHS devision doing Autonomous Haul truck projects across the globe in USA, UK, Ukraine and Australia.
