I am currently employed as an independent Consulting Business Analyst with Aon South Africa (Aon Risk Insurance Solutions, Aon Hewitt Retirement Funding and Finrite Insurance Administrators).At Aon, I am responsible for problem analysis, business requirements elicitation, solution scoping, validation and documentation as well as testing and implementation following a rigid and well-structured software development lifecycle with a strong focus on Corporate Governance, Financial & Regulatory Compliance, and the alignment of IT solutions to Strategic Company objectives (Locally and Internationally – Aon Global, Aon EMEA and Aon SA) .I am passionate about Business analysis and focus my personal development to ensure that I continue to formalise and develop my knowledge, skills and experience within the field of Business Analysis.In 2009, I obtained a Diploma in Business Analysis through the Faculty Training institute. I passed with distinction and was the top achiever in the class. The diploma is aligned to the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge and is accredited through the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA).I am determined to complete the Intermediate Business Analysis Professional (CCBA) qualification in 2014 and so taking the first step towards obtaining the highly acclaimed CBAP qualification.I studied Web and application development at Technikon Pretoria for 3 years which provided me with a solid foundation in IT system solutions. I endeavour to continue studying to obtain a degree.I have strong work ethics and personal values; I strive towards achieving high quality in everything I do – in my personal and professional life; I have strong analytical and critical thinking abilities, strong problem solving skills and I am solution focussed.I am looking for an opportunity to develop and grow as a Business Analyst with a company where the value of business analysis is recognised and personal development in the field is promoted.
