When I moved from my hometown, Lamar, Colorado, I started waiting tables in Granby, Colorado. When the new City Market opened, I started working there in the general merchandise department and cashiering. When I saw a banking opportunity, I started working at Grand Mountain Bank. I then moved to Longmont, Colorado in 2005. Once in Longmont, I worked at Ace Hardware in Boulder cashiering. Once that location closed, I began working at Ace Hardware in Longmont. While working there, I learned of an opening at Compass Bank. I worked there as a lead teller until I wanted to go into sales. I began working at Longmont Dairy as a door to door sales person. Even though, it was a good experience, I wanted to go back to customer service. I began working at Lowe's cashiering and in customer service. Lowe's was a part time job, I wanted to continue a full time career. I came across BI Incorporated through Resource MFG and got a position in manufacturing. My career path grew from there, I began to work in customer service with the Customer Business Services department and that led me to the role of a material planner at BI. I decided to relocate with my family from Longmont back to my hometown, Lamar. This move has allowed our daughter to be with close family and grow up in a rural community. I look forward to learning new things and meeting new people. I'm excited for this new adventure.
