I didn't really have a passion for dance when I was growing up. Most of the dancing that I did was just freestyle dancing back in high school and I never really saw it as a career for me. It wasn’t until someone suggested to me to join a fall performance at my community college and then my passion began to grow from there. I have learned many different styles from ballet, modern, partnering, salsa, bachata, and hip hop. The main genre of dance I like to do is freestyling within the realm of hip hop and am still discovering more within the field. Growing up with a learning disability was one of the major factors of overcoming several obstacles. Dance provided me with confidence to further my passion and pursue my degree. I have attained a Bachelor's Degree within the field of Dance at UCSB and am looking for more opportunities to grow within the field.
