I have primarily served as a classroom teacher during my time at my current employer. In my classroom I have enacted multiple forms of learning including project-based learning, remote learning using a learning management platform, hybrid learning, blended learning, and flipped classrooms. Currently, I teach in our school’s science department, focusing on life sciences. During my time at my current employer, I have served on various committees and communities. For the previous three years, I have served as one of the department chairs on the leadership team. Through this, I have played a role in making key decisions for our school, primarily how to properly navigate learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. Previously I have also been involved with curriculum design, adoption, and implementation for our district’s science department. I have had other responsibilities during my time working as a teacher. Currently, I coach football and have previously coached basketball. Our school offers a variety of clubs and organizations, and I have sponsored a couple of those. During my time at Seaman High School, I have served on our school's leadership committee. With the experience I have served as a leader in the school and have played a key role in school-wide decision making. In my department, I have undertaken curriculum alignment and adoption procedures.

During my time as a teacher assistant at the University of Kansas, I helped to deliver instruction to students in a biology course. One main duty of this job was to manage and monitor the school’s learning management platform. I helped the professors of the course use the platform to deliver instruction and assess student competency. Other duties included designing instructional aids for students, conducting study sessions, holding office hours, aiding in the management of a lecture hall, proctoring exams, and assessing student work.

As a lab assistant, I had varying duties and responsibilities. Primarily, I worked on updating the database that was used by the university’s museum. This included digitizing records and updating existing records. I also spent some time organizing the museum’s collection.

Primarily, as a pharmacy technician, I focused on assisting the pharmacist on tasks. These included filling prescriptions, working with other technicians on projects, managing the pharmacy supply and communicating with insurance companies. CVS is a retail pharmacy, so I did a lot of customer service.
