Hello. (Should you start summaries with a 'hello'? LinkedIn's customer support wouldn't give me an answer and said to stop calling.)It all started when I went to technical school for database administration during my senior year of high school. I obtained my diploma, and promptly chose to not pursue a related job, for whatever silly reason my teenage brain compelled me with.I worked as a cook at a pastry college for a time, where I learned ancient Tibetan techniques for seasoning French fries. I went to college for Graphic Design, which was really useful when designing my band's logo. And then I started working at Revenue Management Solutions.My first position wasn't too exciting, but the second changed things. When I became an Operational Data Analyst, I was reunited with SQL, and I'm grateful that I was. Solving interesting problems on the database-side sucks you in, there's nothing quite like the satisfaction of completing a monster query for a report, or finally figuring out the right way to manipulate thousands of rows in order to save someone else from grueling manual work.That established my purpose, my goal: to solve interesting problems. Now, I'm looking for new ones to solve.
