As a Gulf Strike Team Response Technician, I responded to and managed incidents from marine salvage operations to oil spill recovery and remediation. I honed skills in fields such as pollution response, radiological monitoring and detection, Catastrophic Incident Search and Rescue, and CBRNE events. Ensured readiness and preparedness of units standard and non standard equipment to include heavy machinery, oil/chem recovery pumps and prime movers, flood response assets, trailers, and boats for immediate deployment to response operations all throughout the continental United States and world. As a responder under the National Contingency Plan insured projects were conducted in accordance with appropriate laws and regulations such as RCRA, OSLTF, NFPA, OSHA, and USCG policy and procedures.
