As 2IC, I worked closely with the Seafood Manager to oversee daily operations, including inventory management, training newly introduced employees and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. I also was introduced into handling administrative tasks such as ordering supplies, and maintaining accurate records. This role further developed my organizational and problem-solving skills as I balanced operational tasks, team management, and customer service. I gained a deeper understanding of the seafood industry and my experience as the Assistant Seafood Manager at New World provided me with valuable leadership experience, strengthened my ability to adapt to evolving demands, and reinforced my dedication to delivering exceptional service and quality within a retail setting.
