This manufacturing plant is one of the few factories that produces high quality advanced capacitors for various industries such as automotive, information & communication technology, and medical.The following are some key responsibilities of this post:• Conduct machine efficiency increase at production• Perform rationalization activity for machine upgrade/replacement, and new concept design.• Perform machine design review (MDR) on new machine after decide engineering specification.• Coordinate with respective department for implementation, machine delivery, layout, installation, training, setting up machine standard, and utilities preparation.• Analyse profit & loss on production activity and evaluate machine performance.

It had been a challenging and great learning experience in this plant where assembly manufacturing for several clients of industries such as medical, defense, and information & communication technology takes place.Below are some key responsibilities of this post: • Define incoming inspection requirement with respect to clients engineering drawing and quality requirement.• Monitor equipment calibration status and ensure calibration program is conducted before due date.• Create work instructions and procedure to guide inspectors on relevant process.• Generate CNC program for complex parts that requires either a Coordinate Measuring Machine(CMM), Vision Measuring System(VMS), or Image Dimension Measurement System(IDMS).• Guide inspectors on the methodology of measuring equipment• Perform monthly Electrostatic Discharge(ESD) test on work station table, bench, and trolley• Liaise with customer on Engineering drawing changes or for Supplier Change Notice. Ensure inspection process, tools, and personnel are capable in achieving engineering drawing requirement.Skills: Interpretation and understanding of Engineering drawing, Metrology for parts inspection, Operates and create Computer Numeric Control(CNC) programs on the CMM, VMS or IDMS for parts inspection, Problem solving in terms of inspection difficulties and part alignment, Decision making in terms of selecting equipment of measurement, understanding of ISO 13485.
