Working in partnership with key clients, designed and developed systems for various industries:● Zenith – Information management system developed to manage the full job cycle from client interaction to work carried out, to being paid by the insurer. The system allowed the directors quick access to key performance indicators to allow them to make better decisions for their company. The system was built using ASP.Net and the data was stored in SQL Server 2005. Other key technologies used were Anthem, XML, XLST and Ajax. All reports were created using SQL Reporting Services. System was made compliant for all web 2.0 browsers. Used Microsoft mapping tool to integrate into application so that contractors could produce map of work location and generate directions automatically from the main office. ● BeatleWeek – Hotel booking system to track and handle the logistics for package holiday and ticket sales for International Beatles Week. Built using ASP.NET with the data being stored in a SQL Server 2005 database. ● TicketManager – Ticket management system for booking of tours. The system greatly increased overall control of the booking process and increased ticket sales by around 15 percent. Technologies Used: ASP, XML, XLST and SQL Server 2000.

● LSC Manager - Designed and developed IAG Statistics and performance gathering system for the Learning Skills Council (LSC). Required new database and complete system design. The database design was key to this system, as the system was to handle millions of rows. Another important factor was to allow the clients instant access to various real time reports, which was achieved by building a bespoke reporting tool, which allowed the client to create and run their own dynamic reports. ● RSL Manager – Team leader of three that designed and developed massive and successful property management system with a complete financial module. Required design of SQL database to handle thousands of transactions per day. System included 5 core modules including Customer, Finance, Accounts, Business and HR. ● IAG Manager – Team Leader on project to build company’s first web based system for nextstep organisations which required CRM’s to manage their clients. System was so successful it was taken up by 11 different nextstep organisations, and led to various spins offs including website portals

Placement year was at Tubedale communications, which at the time specialised in network management systems.● Designed new product called ‘TelWeb’ for company which allowed access to trouble ticket, work order and alarm information via the Internet.● Created timesheet system and developed company intranet. Skills learnt included ASP, Oracle, DHTML, VBScript, JavaScript, VB and Java.
