As a fullstack engineer at ThinkCERCA, I spend my days developing features in our React/Redux based progressive web app, building out our Ruby/Rails based GraphQL API and schema, and managing junior engineers and interns. As a tech stakeholder, I've owned several features from problem statement through to implementation and testing.

As a Hacker in Residence, I taught classes on Javascript, web development, and computer science fundamentals. Outside of the class setting, I provided 1-on-1 mentorship to a community of several hundred students. I also conducted code review of student projects, offering feedback on improvement and applying best practices. When not teaching, I developed curriculum for bootcamp prep programs. I helped build a test driven teaching app offering students a sandboxed coding environment, as well as creating curriculum to cover functional programming, Git and version control, AJAX and RESTful APIs, and other advanced Javascript topics.

As an account coordinator for HBS, I prepared Medicare and Medicaid cost reporting notebook for rural health clinics across the country. I handled communications between clients as well as Medicare and Medicaid benefits administrators. I developed a preventive care training and certification program for rural health clinics. Additionally, I redesigned print and digital promotions attracting new potential clients.
