Responsible for the short and long-term planning and the management of the engineering and maintenance operations in the front and back of house. Responsible for ensuring the efficient and economic running of the engineering department in support of all operating departments, while supplying services as required to the entire operation and maintaining equipment, building and grounds in optimum condition. Implementation of the complete Engineering Management System (EMS), Conduct walk-throughs and visually assess the safe and efficient maintenance and operation of the physical structure(s) of the Resort and hotel, to include all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems and any other related equipment. Maintain effective Energy Management and Preventive Maintenance programs and conduct special training for other operating departments on the safe and efficient use of equipment and energy in the hotel and resort.Verify completion of all routine maintenance on public spaces, meeting rooms,cinemas, outlets, back of the house spaces, and grounds. Verify completion of all repairs, replacement, and renovation projects to offices and employee workareas.Manages adherence to city codes and other applicable building laws.

Pre-opening Snagging and Follow through on Project Contractors Deliverables and Service Level Agreements for the Hotel. Optimal Maintenance Management scheduling Corrective, Preventive and Improvement maintenance on Building Services Systems (Generators, Air conditioning, Mechanical, Elevators) and Hospitality Systems (Industrial Laundry and Kitchen equipment) Budgeting, Inventory Management, Staffing , Procurement and Vendor Management. Improved performance indicators using Daily, Weekly and Monthly Checklists for all hotel equipment according to usage and manufacturers specifications. Administrative Functions for Maintenance department staff: Staff rooster and leave periods, Staff documentations. Ensure proper safety procedures.
