I was responsible for managing the project portfolio for our Indian operations. My key responsibilities included:• Manage and control specific CDM projects for ecolutions India and other locations, as deemed, including:  Assess and evaluate carbon credits for potential projects, for example in the Wind, Biomass, Cogeneration, Hydropower, Energy Efficiency, and Municipal Solid Waste sectors  Implement projects, as needed/required on different carbon credit schemes like UNFCCC CDM, VCS, Gold Standard, CCX VERs, etc.  Prepare Project Design Document (PDD), Project Concept Note (PCN) for CDM projects and other relevant documents for other carbon credit schemes  Obtain Host Country endorsement for CDM projects, including making presentations to the Designated National Authority and follow up  Assist in selection of validation/verification entities for client’s projects and successful completion of the validation and registration process  Coordinate with project owners and DOEs during the validation and verification processes• Conduct business development activities for new projects, including but not limited to CER and VER portfolios• Identify new opportunities and markets within India and the rest of the world under the carbon management portfolio of Ecolutions

Ecolutions Carbon India Pvt. Ltd is an affiliate of Ecolutions GmbH & KGaA of Germany. Ecolutions is investing in climate protection projects that generate emission reduction certificates. Its regional focus is based in China, India, Brazil and Africa with a special focus on wind power, solar, biomass and landfill methane recovery. My Achievements: • Successfully completed validation for the 1st Large Scale Hydro project in Ecolutions (24 MW - SLS Hydro Ltd)• Developed the 1st Biomethanation project at Ecolutions (Baramati Agro Ltd) and successfully identified a buyer for the forward sale of the project• Undertook a successful study of the solar market in India and identified possible opportunities for investment/CDM sectors• Instrumental in developing several Bundled Wind CDM project for Ecolutions• Identified and assisted on Development of Carbon Foot Printing (CFP) projects in Singapore & India• Responsible for identifying new market sectors such as Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs), Perform Achieve Trade (PAT) etc for Indian and international markets

Agrinergy is a leading provider of carbon credit services, with a focus on the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM), one of the three flexibility mechanisms outlined in the Kyoto Protocol. Agrinergy provides companies in the developing world with an end-to-end solution - from identifying and registering climate change projects through to marketing the resulting carbon credits and obtaining related project finance.My work experience with Agrinergy spanned the entire gamut of CDM services i.e. Origination, Business Development, Client Management, Liasioning, Project Management, Monitoring Deliverables, Buyer identification, ERPA creation, etc.I was primarily focussing on undertaking verifications for Agrinergy's registered projects in India. We had a kitty of 22 registered projects here in India and I was responsible for developing their monitoring plans from scratch and ensuring that clients received their deliverables i.e. CERs on time.I have also developed Agrinergy's first VER project (India Cements WHR Project) and had been involved in the training and development of our junior staff as well
