Management and strategic planning of two nursery businesses and the development of a third nursery business. Safeguarding lead for all nursery provisions, including developing and designing appropriate systems to manage safeguarding concerns and involvement with external agencies. SENCo for all nursery provision ensuring staff delivered appropriate interventions and support, writing of support plans and EHCPNA. Liaising with SLT team to share vision and ideas for developing nurseries. Development of additional support services for local community such as monthly Health Visitor clinic within the nursery to better engage families and provide holistic support to families

At the time of taking on this setting it was making an annual profit of circa £3000. Within one year this was increased to £23,000 and has continued to rise year on year. This was achieved through restructuring to maximise effectiveness sand capacity. I also became the setting SENCo and the setting rapidly developed a strong reputation for supporting children with additional needs. This resulted in families being referred by external professional such as community paediatricians, speech and language therapists and physiotherapists who we had previously worked closely with. I also became the Designated Safeguarding Lead for the nurseries, acting as Lead Practitioner for a number Team Around Child (TAC), regularly attending and sharing information at Child Protection and Child In Need conferences, developing a strong relationship with a number of social workers.

Wrote training manual and delivered tailored training to GPs across the UK, on a specialised medical IT package

Delivered group training sessions on a variety of IT packages including Microsoft Office and Lotus Smartsuite

Responsible for approving product designs and giving design guidance to manufacturers for a wide range of licensed product including Barbie, Natural History Museum and Camberwick Green.Ran UK Barbie fan club.
