part of a team of five (paid) research assistants working under the supervision of Dr Anna Tristram (French Linguistics) to digitise, transcribe and annotate a corpus of interviews from 1998, using the software 'ELAN'.

- Taught a wide range of ages, from children as young as 8 and secondary school children, to working adults wanting to learn a new skill.- Composed and produced teaching materials in French, German and English (as a foreign language).- Created and implemented lesson plans in the aforementioned languages.- Created mock exam-style questions to aid in the switch to the new GCSE and A Level examinations.- Met and collaborated with students' parents to set realistic and attainable learning goals.- KEY ACHIEVEMENT: helped a university student learning French ab initio go from a Fail, to a solid 2:1 over the summer months.

- Implemented effective classroom management, lesson planning and differentiation in two grammar schools, a private school and vocational further education college in Austria, adhering to the national Lehrplan (National Curriculum) and Matura (A-Level) guidelines and enhancing different attainment levels and needs (e.g., SEND and ADHD).- Deployed linguistic and interpersonal skills through complete immersion in local Austrian culture while acting as an ambassador for the UK.

Working alongside the Study Abroad and Exchanges Team at Birmingham to host Study Abroad fairs, managing @myglobalstory social media accounts, and creating various presentations for partner universities.
