I am currently the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of Dai-ichi Life Insurance Myanmar Ltd in Myanmar, as well as hold an Executive Officer status at the Dai-ichi Life Holdings Inc. in Japan. Prior to this, I spent 20 years in various capacities including insurance, insurtech, risk management, corporate strategy, investment & retail banking, and business development. I had the privilege of being part of a world-class portfolio of companies in both local and international organisations, including First Myanmar Investment Co Ltd (FMI), Yoma Bank, Central Bank of Canada, and BNP Paribas Investment Bank. I am currently serving on the board of directors for Dai-ichi Life Insurance Myanmar and the advisory board of U Thant House. My previous board roles include banking (Yoma Bank), investment (FMI), advertising (FMIDecaux Co. Ltd) airline (FMI Air) and healthcare (Pun Hlaing Silom Hospital) sectors. I am a passionate advocate for gender equality and believe in empowering our youths and talents to fulfil their potential. As a founding member of the Business Coalition for Gender Equality (BCGE), I had worked with a team to support and implement initiatives to achieve equal gender opportunities in the corporate world.
