As the Creative Director of Naked PR, l spearhead the conceptualization and execution of innovative multi platform publicity campaigns. With a strong passion for music Naked PR executed campaigns for emerging talents in Aotearoa, showcasing the work of WHO SHOT SCOTT, REED., Jazmine Mary, Geneva AM, Tim Batt, and Vetiver Productions (Amplified Web Series). The agency has also reintroduced well-regarded local acts such as Luke Buda, SJD, and The Nomad to fresh audiences.Naked PR collaborated closely with cultural organisations Independent Music New Zealand and the Student Radio Network, creating client lead strategies that engage their audiences and drive impactful results.

Sunreturn is an independent record label based in Tāmaki Makaurau, Aotearoa. We strive to amplify the work of artists who find freedom in imagining new and unique sounds.Sunreturn artists have been nominated and won awards at the Aotearoa Music Awards, Taite Music Prize and the Student Radio Network Awards. Sunreturn artists have been played on commercial and alternative radio and profiled in international publications such as Bandcamp Daily and NTS.

Dev Academy is a 15-week bootcamp that touts itself as a full-immersion apprenticeship, taught by practising developers. I was engrossed in an industry styled work environment, learning through building projects in collaborative teams. I attained both the technical and soft skills, alongside real-world first-hand experience, to become exceptional full stack developers. Returning to Flying Out was incredibly rewarding. The new role included management of the online store, inventory, sales and orders and at times a small agile team. I oversaw the creation of all digital content and played a crucial role in strategy and business development. As Manager of Distribution relished in being the point of contact for all suppliers, distributors and retail outlets, while reaching out to new business . I also kept in touch with publicists, promoters, artists and labels around marketing initiatives and content creation for Flying Out.

I presented and compiled The Hills are Alive - New Zealand Music radio programme (broadcast on Saturday at 6.30pm and Wednesday at 11.30pm) and engineered New Zealand Book Club - Presented and compiled by Doris Mousdale.

As RNZ Music Content Producer and Producer of Music 101 I collaborated with the RNZ Music team and others to create and deliver multimedia music storytelling and events covering the creative, cultural and industry aspects of music with a New Zealand perspective, to engage diverse audiences.Using my wider music expertise and interests I was integral to creating an engaging music storytelling and content production across various media formats.

My weekly duties include producing the weekly newsletter, drafting copy for future releases, and packing/shipping stock to customers. I also complete project based tasks that have included digitaising the Flying Nun Record’s back catalogue and organising, publicising and managing events.

My responsibilities include on-air communication with the audience, live interviews with artists and industry professionals; event, artist and new music research and adhering to client responsibility. I also take calls from audience members and co-ordinate competitions and giveaways. The position requires extensive planning and collaboration between the producer, contributors as well as the Station Manager and Programme Director.

I ensured the Museum’s collection was secure, liaised with customers in a retail environment, provided first aid, and was able to evacuate the premises in an event of an emergency.

The job entailed interacting with customers of all nationalities in a retail environment. Working computer systems for administration and cinema purposes. Handling money. Invoicing international tour companies. Taking minutes and chairing team meetings. Maintaining updates of Internet sites as well as filing and data entry.
