Star Hydro Power Limited, a subsidiary of Korea Water Resource Corporation is an Independent Power Producer (IPP) and has developed 147 MW run-of-river Patrind Hydropower Project on river Kunhar in District Muzaffarabad of Azad Jammu & Kashmir. The Project has achieved COD on November 7, 2017. The Project has been developed under the Government of Pakistan's Policy for Power Generation Projects 2002 on BOOT basis with a concession period of 30 years. Major responsibilities include• Implementation of IFRS 9 & preparation of Expected Credit Loss Model, Embedded Derivative Model and IFRIC 12 Model in collaboration with KPMG & Co. Chartered Accountants• Developed Financial Model in collaboration with Ernst & Young & Co. Chartered Accountants• Coordinating with Commercial and Finance teams to ensure compliance of concession agreements and financing documents including Implementation Agreements, Power Purchase Agreements, Agreements for water use charges and Common Terms Agreement• Preparation of annual budget and forecasting and providing variance analysis on ongoing basis• Reporting to Company lenders of compliance with the requirements of the Common Terms Agreement including debt covenants and ratios on periodic basis• Worked on Tariff True Up and Indexation Petitions filed with NEPRA• Preparation of invoices and uploading the same using CPPAGL Portal, coordinating with technical department for gathering data related to daily capacity declaration and monthly meter reading reports• Preparation of 2 sets of quarterly and annual Financial Statements i.e. in accordance with Companies Act 2017 and IFRS• Analytical and detailed testing of ledgers to identify discrepancy and reconciliation of the same• Processing of Company’s Payroll and payments to vendors and complying with Tax Laws• Handling all banking matters of the Company including approvals from State Bank of Pakistan for foreign currency payments required to be made outside Pakistan
