During my tenure as a Project Intern at Bikiya Industries, I was entrusted with the exciting challenge of enhancing layout efficiency and waste retrieval systems within the manufacturing process. With a dedicated team, we embarked on a mission to optimize the layout for maximum productivity and implement an innovative waste retrieval system.Through meticulous analysis and collaborative problem-solving, we were able to devise strategic layout modifications that led to a remarkable 27% improvement in overall operational efficiency. This accomplishment not only streamlined the production flow but also significantly minimized resource wastage.Working closely with cross-functional teams, I contributed to the project by conducting in-depth process assessments, identifying bottlenecks, and proposing targeted solutions.
