As a consultant, I helped clients select suitable funds based on their financial goals and risk tolerance. I used my knowledge of investment theory to provide objective advice. My top-down investing strategy, rooted in macroeconomic analysis, had successfully helped clients maximize growth and improve financial performance.

In my role as an Independent M&A Consultant, I provided expert guidance through the M&A lifecycle, from due diligence to post-merger integration. The role involved comprehensive financial analysis, due diligence, and risk assessment of target companies. I played a key role in negotiations, ensuring optimal terms, and managed stakeholder relationships.

In this role, I was responsible for driving and managing all strategic planning and execution for marketing and sales of luxury destination resort. I provided clear leadership and development of marketing and sales teams from hiring and training of employees to establishing processes in line with business strategy and goals. Part of my responsibilities included overseeing branding, communication and PR firms responsible for product launch and communication, as well as planning and execution of international sales events across the globe.

Being an entrepreneur is part of who I am. So in 2011, I launched a strategy and management consulting company to guide clients through the complex business issues inherent in an emerging market. Along with my cross-functional team of project managers, we support clients in the banking, insurance, manufacturing, retail, education, and investment sectors. Recent projects have involved developing custom solutions for balanced scorecard, lean management, and cost optimization initiatives. While my primary focus is developing relationships with C-level leaders, I also oversee key business development functions, including lead generation, client presentations, and outreach. I also design and manage projects from conception to implementation and transition. In 3 years our team has increased revenue growth by 124% annually. Recently, I negotiated an exclusive partnership with the US-based Palladium Group.

As a member of the “Ideya Qazandi” investment team (cast member), I evaluate presentations from aspiring entrepreneurs – critically examining their concepts, business models, product ideas, and commitment to innovation. This show has been a great vehicle to encourage the entrepreneurial spirit across Azerbaijan. In the first season I had the opportunity to evaluate 60 proposals covering a wide range of ideas and opportunities.

During this short-term project, I worked as an internal consultant to analyze a US$60 million maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) budget. I presented my results and recommendations to top management of BP Exploration (Caspian Sea), including an opportunity to reduce transactions by 31%.

With this promotion, I directed the efforts of an 80-member team managing mass media and direct marketing for a US$56 million portfolio in the Caucasus region. Part of my responsibilities included planning and administering a US$2 million annual budget. I established standard operating procedures for regional communications marketing. Finally, I cultivated strategic relationships with 7 regional agencies, which improved media deal results. Some of my results include:*Increasing TV scheduling from 70% to 95% and maintaining flat media costs flat despite 57% market inflation.* Boosting the team effectiveness score 24% by identifying and implementing performance improvements.* Completing diverse corporate professional development workshops, including sourcing management, negotiations, people development, and coaching training.

In my first role with P&G, I supervised 50 to 60 field agency staff and coordinated direct marketing programs from planning to implementation. I also negotiated agency contracts, prepared sourcing documents, and developed region-specific direct marketing procedures.Highlights included:* Increasing efficiency of point of market entry programs (POME), lowering the cost per contact 23% vs. PP, and increasing the conversion rate 15% vs. PP.* Generating US$1.25 million in sales by driving awareness of Pampers and Ariel brands.
