Hey! I’m Zaven! 👋 My goal is to make my customers happy and make their experience at our property an enjoyable one they won’t forget.🏨 I manage the #1 Hotel in Layton, Utah. Here I have many duties, including training, making reservations, check-ins and check-outs, and most importantly, attending to the needs of our guests. This could be anything, from restaurant recommendations, to special requests, to unclogging toilets. (Hospitality is not always glamorous)🌙 In addition, I have experience as a Night Auditor, overseeing the books and revenue of the property.📃 Complementing my other experience as a Front Desk employee, I also have set up many large group reservations; whether corporate, military, school groups, etc. These often include rental of our Banquet, Board Room, and Dining Area. I coordinate with the groups to make sure everything goes to plan, and make sure that we have the staff necessary to assist with the logistics.🔧 I regularly look after upkeep of the hotel, doing maintenance checks and repairs. I have carpet cleaned rooms, painted, repaired PTACs, replaced many lightbulbs, and done basic electrical and plumbing work as well.🧹 I often assist the housekeeping department by inspecting rooms, and occasionally have helped clean rooms as well when there have been staffing issues. I personally do dozens of loads of laundry every week, including folding many towels.👔 I have been in a leadership or management role in most companies I’ve ever worked for. Thus, I have over five years of managerial experience in three different companies in three different industries. I regularly plan employee events for our hotel, from Holiday parties to teambuilding activities.
