Hi, my name is Zavier, I am an entrepreneur with a passion for invention, innovation, and strategy. With experience at Amazon and a variety of consulting experiences, I’m not only passionate about my own business, but I also love helping others with their businesses and enabling them to solve the problems that are preventing their company from reaching its full potential.I truly believe problem-solving is at the center of every business. After all, entrepreneurship at its core is the creation of an invention made to solve a problem or pain point. At any level of a business, whether the conceptualization of a product or the implementation of a corporate structure, it all comes back to problem-solving. A problem that I’ve had for as long as I can remember has to do with my handwritten notes. Throughout my academic career, I would always struggle with them being boring, bland, or difficult for any to read. It was my passion for problem-solving combined with this lifelong inconvenience that led me to the conceptualization of NeaterNotes. Today, I have secured over $12,500 in funding through the pitch competitions I’ve participated in, ranging from the university to global level and my experience with NeaterNotes has tremendously improved my skills in a variety of ways, ranging from communication on both the stage and with individuals to leadership within smaller teams. Outside of NeaterNotes, I am currently an Area Manager at Amazon, where I lead a team of over 50 associates in the fast-paced environment of a sub-same day shipping site where packages must be fulfilled and delivered just hours after they were ordered. FounderNeaternotes Nov 2023 - PresentAs the founder and CEO of NeaterNotes, I set out to solve the problem of handwritten notes often times being bland, boring, or illegible. My struggles with my own notes throughout my academic career led to me being incredibly passionate about solving this problem. After engaging in customer discovery surveys and interviews, I realized that just like me, many students faced similar problems with their notes and didn't have an adequate solution. That's when I set out to build NeaterNotes Inc., a business with the goal of revolutionizing notetaking by hand and enabling students and professionals to better achieve their academic and career goals. Today, I lead an in-house development team at NeaterNotes and we are making strides toward our market release, having recently completed our MVP which will soon be publicly available. What excited me most about entrepreneurship is invention, building and continuously innovating on a solution that truly solves problems for customers. -
