As the founder and CEO of NeaterNotes, I set out to solve the problem of handwritten notes often times being bland, boring, or illegible. My struggles with my own notes throughout my academic career led to me being incredibly passionate about solving this problem. After engaging in customer discovery surveys and interviews, I realized that just like me, many students faced similar problems with their notes and didn't have an adequate solution. That's when I set out to build NeaterNotes Inc., a business with the goal of revolutionizing notetaking by hand and enabling students and professionals to better achieve their academic and career goals. Today, I lead an in-house development team at NeaterNotes and we are making strides toward our market release, having recently completed our MVP which will soon be publicly available. What excited me most about entrepreneurship is invention, building and continuously innovating on a solution that truly solves problems for customers.

As an Area Manager at one of Amazon's Global Speciality Fulfillment centers, more specifically a sub-same day site called SMA2, I lead and managed a diverse team in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment on the back half night shift across 3 departments, controlling inbound logistics, outbound logistics, and sortation over my tenure. It was my responsibility to ensure that thousands of customer orders were completed on time so that they could arrive on the customer's door step just a few hours from when they were ordered. I accomplished this through the constant development of my team, maintaining high levels of safety, emphasizing performance coaching, and providing those on my team with the necessary tools for success and advancement. Leadership is a support role and as a manager I ensured my team had all the tools and resources they needed for success.My approach to management and efficiency is multi-pronged, I use data analysis to identify problems and leverage my interpersonal and people skills to solve them.

As a Development Intern at Quinnipiac University's Office of Community Engagement, I assisted with a variety of tasks and initiatives. My responsibilities included:- Developing a walking tour on African American history in New Haven for Quinnipiac University, conducting extensive research on historical figures and locations, selecting optimal points of interest based on proximity and relevance, and writing engaging narration for each location- Optimizing and altering the walking tour based on trials- Designing visually appealing fliers for events hosted by the Office of Community Engagement to be posted around campus- Assisting with the University's involvement fair and recruitment of new members into the university's service-based clubs
