In my time at York University, I was able to join a research team as general volunteer and i had worked under some of the members in their respective projects, this experience was quite interesting as i assisted in setting up experiments according to the standard protocol, acquiring raw data, and researching articles relating to the project. This experience is what has encouraged me to join the biotechnology field. I am aspiring to join this field, as lab technician and continue to pursue this career to gain experiences that will help grow my skills. Also performing CPAP/BIPAP studies for patients needing further treatment. • Assisting fellow tech in troubleshooting technical problems regarding software, or equipment that may occur during a shift.• Data collecting and data entry of information gathered into the sleep study software, as well as updating patient files, with forms and consent needed for the study.• Maintain a CPR/BLS certification
