Passion for healthcare and the benefits it can provide towards economic growth and prosperity is my lifetime driver. I spent many years serving patients on the front-line in Primary Care, which helped me on a personal and professional level. Above all, I learned a lot about the gaps in Primary Care Services, thus it was clear to me where I could provide the most impact. For that reason, I set out building my first business venture. The business' primary objective was to break down the barriers between healthcare providers and patients. As a result, I co-founded Connected Healthcare Ltd.—an umbrella of three distinct services utilising technological advances to deliver the ultimate objective. This venture was successful and was turning over half a million pounds annually. After disposing of the business I realised that I needed to reach more patients and touch the lives of many.Soon after joining Hearst Health International I was given the opportunity to recruit and train a team of clinicians to deliver Clinical Decision Support system to our clients in the Asia Pacific and EMEA regions. This role has helped me reach out and touch the lives of over 4 million patients worldwide. As the clinical lead on the projects, I maintained relationships between clients, UK sites and the US clinical teams. In pursuit of my desire to reach out to more patients globally, I have completed M.Sc. in Economic Evaluation in Healthcare (EEHC) to gain insights and depth of knowledge into Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) and to demonstrate the value of healthcare solutions to stakeholders, from senior management positions.
