I tutor undergraduate students in computer science courses offered at the Claremont Colleges.

-Greets all guests in a warm and friendly manner to create a positive first impression of the Field House.-Communicates all client questions, concerns, and comments to appropriate staff..-Coordinates aspects of guest services, including supply monitoring and facility maintenance.-Processes guest credit card or student ID information for gym or rental equipment services.-Performs inventory and restocking assignments as necessary.-Serves as a primary point of contact for members and guests for information on the Field House's services, classes, equipment, and pool regulations.-Handles guest complaints calmly and professionally.-Provides clients with detailed instructions on how to fill out intake forms.-Prepares first time guests over the phone for their experience with a particular class or event at the Field House.-Manages all front desk tasks, including the maintenance of client records and gym data.-Answers a high-volume, multi-line telephone promptly and courteously.-Communicates effectively with management concerning important customer issues.

-Researched the Origins of the Black Studies Program at the Claremont Colleges under an undergraduate research grant for the Intercollegiate Department of Africana Studies.-Performed on-site interviews and wrote academic papers in an efficient and timely manner.-Wrote an academic paper that is in the process of publishing.-Performed and will be performing the results and analyses of my research at the Scripps College Undergraduate Research Fair and at the Black Intersections Conference.-Communicated between my research mentor and fellow research interns efficiently and effectively.-Sorted through archival documents and read through over 200 pages thoroughly, resulting in the proper organization of important materials and unimportant materials.-Worked and communicated with library staff at Honnold Mudd Library and at Denison Library on campus.
