As a law student at Strathmore University, I am passionate about learning and applying the principles and practices of the legal system. I aim to become a competent, astute, and ethical lawyer as well as an academic, who can contribute to the advancement of justice in society.To enhance my academic and professional development, I have taken on multiple leadership and editorial roles at Strathmore Law School. I am currently an intern at the Strathmore Dispute Resolution Centre, where I assist in conducting research, drafting documents, and facilitating mediation and arbitration sessions. I am also a senior editor at Strathmore Law Review, where I review and edit articles, organize events, and mentor junior editors. Additionally, I am the editorial director at Strathmore Law Clinic, where I oversee the publication of blogs, reports, and case studies on various legal issues and topics, and where I have taken part in the authoring of various briefs. I am also a research assistant; I assist various scholars and authors in undertaking their research projects.Through these experiences, I have developed and demonstrated strong interpersonal, communication, and research skills, as well as a keen interest in alternative dispute resolution, public interest law, and legal education. I am always eager to learn new things, take on challenges, and collaborate with others. I value excellence, integrity, and service in everything I do.
