The Blackstone Launchpad Launch Summer Accelerator is a virtual program that helps students and recent graduates develop their entrepreneurial skills and launch their ventures. The program runs for 8 weeks from June 7 to July 26 and requires a weekly commitment of about 12.5 hours. I led a team of four to design a career platform that uses a video-based approach to increase the face-to-face familiarity between job seekers and recruiters. UB Management Information Systems Association is a group of mission driven students at University at Buffalo empowering the fellow students to succeed in technology related careers by equipping them with IT knowledge, practical experiences and networking opportunities. Our goal is to nurture a community of leaders and professionals trained to be versatile in both managerial and technological aspects of their careers so they can design a career path of their own that is unique, enriching, and impactful.I, alongside my team of five, was responsible for organizing nine professional events, and inviting 12 professional guest speakers in IT fields from various companies like Deloitte, Hulu, Disney, and Google within a single semester of Fall 2020. We also collaborated with five Western New York companies to provide professional mentor-provided tech project experiences to 23 students in UB School of Management. I also worked with my team members to create budgeting, risk management, and recruiting events for the club. UB MISA, as of Fall 2020, is about 40 members strong and is expected to grow more in the foreseeable future.

During my role as the President for UB MISA, I also served as the program manager for the Technology Fellowship Program which is a two months long experiential learning program designed to equip the college students with the skills and experiences required to thrive in tech related careers. Each semester, 20 qualifying students are selected from our members pool and are matched with a company. The students are then mentored by the company representatives to work on a real world tech related project for two months, culminating in a final capstone presentation by the end of the semester.As the program manager, I worked with eight companies in one year - Strayos, Finta, 26 Shirts, Lender Logix, Whose Your Landlord (WYL), Spatched, Tellus, and Optiv to create project guidelines for the students. I also drafted risk management procedures, screened and selected the program participants, and onboarded them into the program. I monitored the progress of each project throughout the semester to ensure that the project deliverables are being fulfilled by the students and that the company representatives are satisfied with the students' performance.

UB Management Information System Association (MISA) is a School of Management student-led club spearheading leadership and education in information and computer technology. As the club president, I am responsible for charting the organizational strategies with my eboard team, devising the plans to educate the members about the role of computational sciences and IT within the business context and serving as an intermediary between UB faculty and students to best represent the interests of the club.As the Vice President of Marketing, I was responsible for overseeing the club's marketing related operations and publicity affairs. I designed the marketing materials to be streamlined on social media and through email to the members of the club. I worked very closely with other members of the executive board to optimize the club's presence and image through redesigning of the club's branding assets and setting the strategic direction of social media marketing.

Esports Design Challenge 2022 is a product innovation competition where the participants are challenged to learn about the Esports industry and its rapid growth as well as come up with an idea for a business, product, service, non-profit, or social initiative that either enhances or tackles a problem in the industry. The teams in the competition will then pitch this idea in 4-5 minutes during the final session. This pitch/idea will be the final deliverable and determinant for the top three winning teams.

FinTech Design Challenge Winter 2022 is a 4-week long technology entrepreneurship competition in which students attempt to reimagine the student loan industry by coming up with groundbreaking solutions that will help college students manage their student loans more effectively. Our team won the third place for our idea that focuses on building a platform called PEAR that provides the users with high-paying job opportunities, service programs and loan forgiveness opportunities through a profile-based matching algorithm.

During this virtual week-long event, student teams from UB and other institutions learn about entrepreneurship through action-learning experiences. This program, led by Blackstone Launchpad, includes daily discussions and presentations, opportunities to immediately apply this knowledge, mentoring and coaching from industry experts, and a final pitch presentation.

I was accepted into Blackstone Launchpad Inclusive Launch Foundry Program Fall 2019, which was a 10-week long entrepreneurship boot-camp that helped young student entrepreneurs at University at Buffalo develop their business venture ideas. I, alongside my partner, Cameron Hotto, developed a technology-based sports startup venture that serves as an intermediary between professional athletic coaches and their clients. We designed a mobile app interface, high-fidelity mockups and a full-fledged business plan pitch deck for the startup and ended up winning the second prize.

Rich Products Corporation is a privately held, multinational food products corporation headquartered in Buffalo, New York. ● As an Information Technology extern, I worked alongside a fellow student to design information security strategies and initiatives to fortify the company's cyber awareness, compliance, assurance and resilience.● We worked with the Vice President of Information Systems as well as several other professionals from data analytics and cybersecurity functions to identify the weaknesses and loopholes in the company's cyber initiatives.● We conducted independent research to mitigate these weaknesses and presented our key findings and cyber strategy and transformation initiatives to the company's IT leadership.

The Technology Committee of the Alpha Kappa Chapter of Delta Sigma Pi International Business Fraternity is responsible for maintaining the digital presence of the Fraternity. Creator Institute hosts open programs and courses of Georgetown Professor Eric Koester's award winning Book Creators course. The programs are open to anyone -- college, graduate and high school students as well as working professionals.In the fall, spring and summer semesters, Creator Institute offers a five-month long book creators experience. The goal is to help each author create a first draft manuscript, and a path forward to publish the work. Each aspiring author starts their experience with a one-on-one call with Professor Koester to discuss their topic and aims for the book. From there, they'll be part of a weekly virtual seminar course with other authors where they'll collaborate and get access to a fast-paced, community powered experience to help them develop and write their book. Each author in the program is paired up with a professional editor who offers coaching and writing feedback.

It also empowers international students to be active participants with regards to visa regulations and maintaining their status so that they can be successful in their academic pursuits at UB.I am responsible for handling student and staff phone calls, updating the database, assisting the international student advisors, providing excellent customer service and support to the international students, processing their legal documentations like I-20 form, ensuring a smooth transition of international students from their home countries to the United States by providing them with information resources and creating a support system for all international students at University at Buffalo.

We put on HackTX, an annual hackathon that brings students from all over the country to build new technology.Zard is an e-commerce platform for small businesses designed to facilitate, catalyze, and stimulate market flow at the local level as well as provide relief and convenience economically. Zard is the brainchild of four undergraduate students from University at Buffalo, University of Texas, Austin and University of Pennsylvania. We created this app for SummerHacks 2020 which is a 12 week long summer hackathon and competition for students passionate about technology. The app was created using Adobe XD, a UI/UX design tool and Flutter, a UI software development kit.

Project Snapshot is an 8-week experiential learning program providing students and early professionals with an opportunity to engage in internship, research and mentorship opportunities. First launched in 2020, Project Snapshot was put together by 25 college students across the United States and Canada who wanted to act in response to Covid-19 outbreak and challenge the status quo.I was one of 25 founding members of Project Snapshot and took on the role of Graphic Designer and Data Analyst and was part of Marketing and Analytics teams. I was in charge of creating social media branding materials and marketing graphics using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop. I worked in a team of 5 to spearhead the social media strategy development and digital marketing planning for Project Snapshot.

Whose Your Landlord is a mobile platform that’s empowering and informing the rental community. For renters, WYL provides landlord reviews and housing literacy content. For home providers, WYL provides a subscription SaaS software that aggregates reviews from all over the web, allowing them to chart their improvement in service quality in real time and more directly assess the reputation of buildings in their portfolio.This experience was the intrapreneurial component of SUNY Blackstone Launchpad's Inclusive Launch Foundry Accelerator Program Spring 2020. I had an opportunity to interview the CEO and technology consultant of the rental startup company, Whose Your Landlord (WYL) and provide recommendations on the company's integration of data and analytics on its platform. I also analyzed the real estate industry and rental market in Western New York to make the overall verdict about the company's potential to succeed in the region.

Western New York IT Shadowing Program is a winter IT job shadowing program organized by InfoTechWNY and UB School of Management. Initiative for Peace Myanmar (IFP Myanmar) is Myanmar's national chapter of Initiative For Peace Conference International which was founded in 2001 by a group of students and staff to promote peace in global, national and regional conflicts. The annual conference follows a year of preparation by students, who receive training from specialists in the fields of public administration, conflict resolution and negotiation and historical perspectives in order to facilitate an event in the target country for youth leaders from both sides of a conflict.I served as the co-founder and team leader of the first ever IFP Conference in Myanmar in late 2018. The planning for this inaugural international conference took four months and the conference finally happened from December 6 to 10 in Bago, Myanmar. Project Peace Camp is a social impact project intended to raise awareness about Myanmar’s diverse ethnicity groups and promote positivity and coexistence among Myanmar and its neighboring countries.I led a team of six people, assigned them relevant tasks and monitored them accordingly to successfully sustain the project. Weekly meetings and conference calls were a regular part of my leadership in this project. I also communicated with the volunteers who come from international locations to onboard them, coordinate them and properly settle them in Myanmar for 6 weeks to make sure that they are able to fulfill their volunteering journey and that their needs are well accommodated.
