Handles highly complex legal matters and projects. Drafts high priority real estate documents and counsels clients regarding real estate transactions, including leasing, development, subleasing, dispositions, acquisitions, redevelopments, financing, asset management and real estate tax analysis. Assists clients by zealously negotiating agreements on their behalf and provides advice regarding legal strategy concerning all aspects of commercial and residential real estate and corporate transactions and development, including, without limitation, the acquisition of property for development and redevelopment, counsel and assistance with zoning amendments and obtaining entitlements and financing. Negotiates retail leases with major national tenants throughout the United States together with SNDAs, lien waiver agreements, as well as short sale transactions, modifications and other work out agreements with the nation’s largest banks (JP Morgan Chase, Bank of America, Wells Fargo). Advises and represents clients regarding landlord/tenant/HOA disputes and unlawful detainer rights and processes.
