• Worked on Cypress, an open source web automation testing tool running in Electron: https://github.com/cypress-io/cypress • Maintained Cypress’s Node.js backend and HTTP proxy layer running in Electron – involving extensive work with HTTP internals & quirks that exist in real-world usage, cookies support, websockets proxying, cross-domain issues • Built Node.js HTTP proxy that rewrites intercepted HTML + Javascript syntax trees in real time according to certain rules, optionally allowing users to add custom interceptions in test code (like Nock, but applied in real-time to real HTTP requests/responses) • Built browser automation code for Firefox, Chrome, and WebKit (Safari) browsers using various technologies including Chrome DevTools Protocol, WebDriver, Puppeteer, and JavaScript injection • Designed and implemented new user-facing APIs used by tens of thousands of users daily in collaboration with Product and Engineering teams, including cy.intercept() • Performed interviews for candidates and mentored new hires

While working for the Windows Server group for Norfolk Southern, I performed a variety of tasks related to automating server administration tasks. Tools I became familiar with include Powershell, Microsoft T-SQL, Microsoft SharePoint, Active Directory administration, HP iLO, and many Windows Server administration tools (SCOM, SSRB and SSRS, Exchange, and IIS). I also assisted in the systematic decommission and upgrade of several hundred servers from WS 2003 to WS 2012.
