As a Regional Coordinator for Vermont Emergency Management, I am responsible for coordinating, planning, training, and exercising emergency operations and management across Caledonia, Orleans, and Essex counties. I served in various Planning Section roles for Vermont's Urban Search and Rescue Task Force, where I developed Incident Action Plans and provided GIS/mapping support for operational activities. I assisted the first national deployment of VT Task Force 1 as a Type III Swift Water Team and contributed to the development of mobilization plans and communication procedures in alignment with Vermont's emergency response systems

Responsible for coordinating the development, revision, testing, and implementation of emergency preparedness and institution continuity plans for the University of Vermont. Provides training and exercising capabilities to all of UVM's community to help prepare for and prevent disasters. Responds to any incident on campus that requires significant UVM resources or requires complex multi-agency support. Supports the UVM Emergency Operations Group and the UVM Emergency Operations Center when in operation. Responsible for UAS operational safety including the development of policy and procedures for the University as well as flight approval for UAS operations on campus.

Responsible for developing public-private partnerships, working with higher education institutions on emergency preparedness, developing a GIS program for VEM, coordinating state's Citizen Corps Program with a primary focus on CERT teams. Served as State Duty Officer, the 24/7 first point of contact for any disaster or resource request in the state. Responsible for activating special teams and the State EOC.

Intern with a relatively new emergency management office. Assist with emergency planning, drill and exercise development, and other daily tasks. Responsible for completing National Weather Service Storm Ready certification.

Assisted with development of multimedia advertising project and worked in several roles including videophrapher, editor, audio production, and social media development. Developed social media campaign for a national restaurant chain and assisted them with developing policies and projects to help boost their social media presence.

Assisting with geospatial analysis projects for several large urban tree studies. Provided quality assurance for projects and assisted with development of presentation materials. Daily use of the ArcGIS suite.

I established a severe weather appendix for the university's emergency operations plan and worked with the National Weather Service to certify UVM as a "Storm Ready" school. This made UVM the first school to get this designation in the state of Vermont.

Diagnosed and repaired computers for the university community. This included over the phone tech-support and direct support at the Computer Depot and in the Nursing Department.

Intern at the NWS office in Burlington, Vt. Assisted with daily forecasting tasks at the office and recreational forecast products. Developed a GIS dataset that was used to evaluate where severe weather was being reported and where severe weather had occurred over different time periods to assist with understanding warning area reporting gaps.
