Created article recaps of athletic events for the UCSB athletics website. Crafted posts and uploaded live updates for the women’s tennis team’s Twitter and Instagram accounts. Participated in weekly team brainstorming sessions to develop new written content for underrepresented sports.

Dr. Walid Afifi (2021) – Compiled and coded demographic data from communication journals using Google Sheets. Developed a proficiency in managing and organizing large data sets.Dr. Joseph Walther (2022) – Analyzed The Facebook Files alongside graduate students, with a personal focus on social media “addiction.” Presented insights and findings to Dr. Walther and the team.Dr. Tamara Afifi (2023) – Assisted with the Emotional Stroop Study by leading couples through lab sessions involving multiple surveys, interaction tasks, computer tests, and hair sampling for cortisol measuring purposes. Built an in-depth understanding of research methodology.
