In this role I oversaw the partnership between Parker and American Magic (AM), a challenger in the 36th Americas Cup yacht race taking place in 2021. I worked with the team in Rhode Island to identify and develop a hydraulic control system using Parker technology. I also tracked the status of current projects and sent out weekly reports to Parker/AM stakeholders. In my first year I oversaw the procurement of 64 unique parts across 4 of Parker's 6 operating groups totaling over $100k in value for the AM team.

In this role I focused on designed and developing an internal financial reporting application that computed current and future costs on a program basis that resulted in a cost savings of $80k. The application was developed in Java that integrated with multiple data sources using MySQL.

I was the head of IoT development while participating in the Engineering Leadership Development Program (ELDP). Our team was tasked with identifying and developing a joint IoT and robotics application to be integrated in one of Parker's 239 US based manufacturing facilities within 1 year. Our solution consisted of autonomously tracking the setup and cycle times of jobs performed by a collaborative robot. The data was aggregated in Microsoft Azure where we created a website Floor Managers could use to monitor progress and more accurately schedule jobs.In addition to the ELDP I also worked on a redesign of Parker's FilterTec positive displacement pump. On this project I developed the GUI and logic for creating/running experiments. The project was written in C including the GUI using the emWin graphics library.

I worked as an undergraduate intern in the Information Systems department on the Cyber-security, Architecture, Risk and Engineering team. On this team I oversaw the testing for the integration of 20 applications into the new Identity Access Management software. My focus was on making the current process as automated as possible to enhance productivity and quality. In doing this I uncovered a bug that allowed users to remove any persons access to an application they previously had available to them.
