Work in the Sichuan Power Company Development and Planning Department• Contributed to mid and long-term planning review, review transmission power flow analysis and development plans, facilitating communication and collaboration between stakeholders• Researched and authored a comprehensive report on the effects of growing market share of Electric Vehicles (EVs) and potential effects of energy storage on the power grid, outlining recommendations for strategic responses by the company• Reconcile and balance demands from users, local government, electric generation companies and State Grid’s own interests

Worked in Sichuan Power Company Maintenance and Operation Branch• Part of launching team in two new 500kV substations, including project acceptance examination, launch test, etc. And maintenance of power utility equipment in substation after launch• Spearheaded computer-vision based meter reading project, received corporate innovation silver prize at national level and funding, chosen to be top 20 projects from over 3000 submissions.

An international internship program focused on social entrepreneurship and corporate social responsibility work at Tata Corporation. Developed and established a performance tracking mechanism to evaluate the effects of social development program, using multiple qualitative methods such as focus group, Delphi methods, and quantitative methods such as analytic hierarchy process (AHP).

• Worked with the Cabinet Office Horizon Scanning Secretariat to identify technologies that will aid older people in ageing healthily, continual engagement in the society and workforce.• In charge of conducting in-depth research and analysis on the role of technology on the social engagement of the elderly in the horizon of 2030. Research includes interview with the elderly, government agencies, charities and academic researchers. The deliverable was a detailed research paper, which was awarded a distinction, and presentation at a governmental event in July.

Provided consultancy services to ARM for their strategic opportunities in the technology revolution of Internet of Things. My work consists primarily of trend analysis, and analyze the opportunities for ARM. This is conducted as part of an university partnership project.
